08.08 - ACTION/ADVENTURE REDEMPTION IN BANGKOK

“Bangkok Dangerous” starring Nicolas Cage was released by Lionsgate.  Music supervision services were provided by Silent Bay.  Special effort was required to identify and provide clearance of songs for international music artists.


05.08 - AN AMERICAN STORY  (BUILT GLOBALLY)

Magnolia Pictures announced today the acquisition of North American rights to Trygve Allister Diesen and Lucky McKee’s Sundance discovery Red. Led by a standout performance from Brian Cox, RED features a terrific veteran cast that includes Robert Englund, Amanda Plummer and Tom Sizemore.

Silent Bay provided Post Production Management and Music Supervision services to support an international production team.  Silent Bay negotiated original song creations by The Green Car Motel who also have featured songs in the films, “Collateral” and “Brokeback Mountain.


03.08 - SONGS FOR COUNTRY MEGA SONGSTER

Silent Bay obtained Song Clearances for Country Music Superstar, Toby Keith's upcoming movie, "Beer for My Horses."
 

01.08 - CROSS-CULTURAL FUSION INDIA/USA

Silent Bay provided Music Supervision services for the upcoming Hyde Park film, “Other End of the Line,” distributed by MGM. 

Music supervision services were also completed for the “Ocean of Pearls.”  Silent Bay was instrumental in getting world music recording star, Karsh Kale to create original songs for the film.  Mr. Kale has just released a new album with Anoushka Shankar that include collaborations with Sting and Norah Jones.
 

07.07 - SEPARATED FAMILIES AND REUNIFICATION

Silent Bay completed Post Production Management services for distribution of “Under the Same Moon (La Misma Luna)” by Fox Searchlight Pictures/The Weinstein Company. Services required the complete 35mm studio delivery package for foreign language, subtitles, physical elements, documentation, and required interface with a Mexican production entity.
